- Reindeer and farm activities provide you a great insight into the life of people in Northern Finland. There are two reindeer farms in Pyhä-Luosto. Reindeer Park Kopara is located in between of Pyhä and Luosto and Luosto's Reindeer Farm Jaakkola 10 kilometres from Luosto to Sodankylä direction.
You can visit the reindeer farms on your own during the opening hours of the farm or take part in the organized trips with one of the safaris companies in the area.
Reindeer Farm Jaakkola is open during summer on request. Reindeer Park Kopara is closed during summer.
Horseback riding and sleigh- and carriage driving programs offers Lucky Ranch located in village Pyhäjärvi and Outisen Ratsastuskeskus located about 10 km from Kemijärvi to Pyhä.
In the Pyhä-Luosto resort there are two husky farms, which offer dog sledding rides during the winter season and farm visits in the summer.
Lapland Husky Safaris Luosto is located just a 10-minute drive from Pyhä or Luosto, by the Pyhä-Luosto road, halfway between Pyhä and Luosto.
Pyhä Husky Farm is located right next to the Pyhä-Luosto National Park, about 7 km from Pyhätunturi and 25 km from Luosto.
