Where to go?
For snowshoes, we recommend heading to the Ukko-Luosto scenic hut. The route starts from the Luosto gate (Luoston portti) - to Tikkalaavu and from there up towards the top of Ukko-Luosto. The trail can be traversed as a circular route through Torvinen maja Café, which means that the snowshoe route is about 7.5 km away. Please note that snowshoeing is a very physical and strenuous sport and running time can be 3-5h.
